Marketing Associate

Reports to: Accounts & Customer Services Director

Accountable to: Accounts & Customer Services Director

Job Purpose:

All aspects of Marketing, both digital and commercial. You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the company, along with the research and reporting of competitor activities within the Orthopaedic device industry.

Assist in the writing, collation, and application of R&D Grants, along with the creation of product literature.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Planning and implementing marketing and advertising activities.

  • Analyse relevant market trends 

  • Research and report on competitor activity 

  • Report relevant customers' behaviour.

  • Copy and proof all marketing materials

  • Develop and maintain JointMedica’s social media platforms (website, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)

  • Support all aspects of PR within the company

  • Identifying new funding opportunities through Grants

  • Managing grant applications

  • Assisting the Directors with creation of presentation

  • Assistance in generating all product literature


Experience:

Essential:

  • 1-2 years’ experience within a marketing role

  • Preferably a marketing related professional qualification

  • Be a proactive resource for senior professionals with the completion of large projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of organisation and attention to detail

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time and meet timescales

  • Perform well under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment within a team

  • Understanding marketing concepts

  • Passionate about marketing, with an excellent understanding of different marketing strategies

  • Strong written English for writing website copy

  • Ability to understand and communicate the value proposition of a technical product

  • Have an exceptional attention to detail

  • Possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Are excellent at communicating both written and verbally

  • Ability to work as a team and independently

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Creative thinker

Desirable:

  • Experience in creative design

  • Technological and digital skills including experience with working on all Adobe Creative Suite – Adobe PDF, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

 

Package:

  • £21,000 - £26,000p.a. depending on experience and qualifications

  • Company Pension

  • 20 + days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays
