JointMedica awarded funding under CPI’s Health Technology Regulatory and Innovation Project.
On behalf of Innovate UK, CPI and ABHI have developed the Health Technology Regulatory and Innovation Programme to support small and medium-sized (SME) businesses to navigate the complex and ever-changing HealthTech regulatory landscape.
The programme is designed to support SME’s such as JointMedica to commercialise new products in line with regulatory requirements.
JointMedica are pleased to have been awarded the full amount available for applicants, which will be used to support the various regulatory requirements associated with the development of the Polymotion® Hip Resurfacing System.
Terence Smith, Managing Director of JointMedica commented:
“Our ambition to deliver new technology into the medical device space must be tempered with absolute adherence to the standard set out by the various global regulatory authorities. The financial support offered by CPI has allowed our organisation to focus attention on the new Quality and Regulatory benchmarks outlined in target markets related to our Polymotion® hip resurfacing.”
