About the Role

As the VP of Finance at JointMedica, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization. Reporting directly to both the leader for commercial and sales-related accounting, and the operations lead for matters allied to Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of monetary management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will provide strategic financial insights, enabling us to make informed decisions that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership: Collaborate with the senior executives to develop and execute the company's financial strategy. Ensure the organization's financial policies and procedures are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations for improvement. Management of Purchase ledger including all BACS payments, and UK Based Payroll. Present company status at global investment banking conferences, and MedTech conferences.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to set financial targets and KPIs. Develop and maintain long-term financial forecasts to support strategic planning. Coordinate the sales and operations planning process including supply/demand forecasting, inventory management, and on-time delivery. Opportunity to strategically manage capital deployment, and gross margin strategy in multiple dynamic global markets with a growing product line. Opportunity to also manage large-scale capital projects as the company grows its manufacturing capacity, global footprint, and commercial scale.

3. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide regular financial reports and insights to JointMedica Senior Management, the board of directors, and the Executive Chairman, in a private equity environment.

4. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

5. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

6. Manage the company's Global insurance policies in line with company strategy. Oversee organization-wide management of sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA qualification preferred.

  • Proven experience as a VP of Finance or similar senior financial role.

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary

JointMedica 5-6 depending on experience.
