About Us

JointMedica is a growing company in the medical device sector that designs and manufactures several implantable orthopaedic devices and their associated surgical instruments. As part of their expansion plans, JointMedica Ltd are looking for a Product Manager to partner with the Development Team on new product development and assist with the day-to-day management of the existing product lines. This person will report to the Chief Commercial Officer. 

About the Role

The product manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch. This will involve conducting market research to identify customer needs and preferences, defining the product scope and features, analysing the competition, supporting design control, and ensuring that the product meets regulatory and market requirements.

The product manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and medical professionals to ensure that the product meets the needs of end-users and is delivered on time and within budget.

The product manager will also work with the commercial teams and distribution partners to develop effective go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, revenue and business growth.

Requirements

The product manager will require a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 2-year experience within a product management role, preferably within the medical device/technology sector. 

In addition, the product manager must be: 

  • An excellent communicator with organizational and leadership skills 

  • Able to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams 

  • Comfortable presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences 

  • A data-driven decision maker 

  • Able to manage risk and adapt to changing market conditions 

  • A team player 

  • Versatile and a self-starter able to work without supervision. 

Salary

£50,000pa
