JointMedica is an Orthopaedic design and development ‘Think Tank’, with the aim to advance and disseminate new concepts which result in the creation of innovative Orthopaedic implants. Our objective is to form close relationships with key Orthopaedic Surgeons, empowering the creation of products that are highly innovative while at the same time meeting the heightened expectations of patients along with the stringent quality and safety standards that apply to modern Orthopaedic implants.
About the Role
Our Sales Director will drive growth and profitability for JointMedica products. As the Sales Director, you work closely with senior management to develop and execute sales strategies that meet our business objectives. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles. You should have experience in the medical devices industry and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of our organization and make a significant impact on our future success.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the sales efforts OUS to achieve and exceed sales targets
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business objectives
Own contract development process with in-market agents/distributors
Identify new business opportunities with in-market agents/distributors and turn them into profitable sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Conduct market and competitive research to inform sales strategies
Manage and develop sales agents and their teams to achieve their full potential
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
7+ years of sales experience in the medical devices industry
3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Salary
