About Us
Jointmedica was formed in 2000.
Our pedigree can be traced back to 1997 when the first Birmingham Hip Resurfacings® were implanted.
We are a privately funded orthopaedic company that seeks to sympathetically enhance the currently accepted arthroplasty interventions, by creating implants which exhibit superior functionality, apply biomechanical sensitivity, and innovative form.
Principally we are an Orthopaedic Design and Development ‘Think Tank’, with the aim to progress and disseminate new ideas that result in the creation of innovative orthopaedic implants.
Our strategic intent is to facilitate early partnerships and acquisition opportunities of these concepts, at the point of commercial attractiveness, to established Orthopaedic Sales companies.
